Saurabh, our Chief Product Strategist, has 15 years of experience in conceptualizing, designing and developing trading systems. One of the earliest bitcoin & blockchain backer, Saurabh is passionate about emerging technologies such as Blockchain, IoT and AI for the fintech industry.
He spends most of his free time with his boys (aged 5 and 8) teaching them chess and programming.
Khai, our Chief Operating Officer, brings nearly 2 decades of leadership experience in commodity supply chain to Satoshi. After his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, Khai has worked in several locations across Africa, Asia and Europe. He is enthusiastic about applying the latest technologies to the commodity supply chain which he believes will bring a transformational change.
Whenever possible Khai is delving into the world of cryptocurrency and its unique opportunities.
Sir Christopher Antoniou Pissarides FBA is a British-Cypriot economist. He is the School Professor of Economics & Political Science and Regius Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics. His research focuses on topics of macroeconomics, notably labour, economic growth, and economic policy. In 2010, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics, jointly with Peter A. Diamond and Dale Mortensen, “for their analysis of markets with theory of search frictions.”
Christophe has dedicated his entire career to the world of commodities, as broker, trader, treasurer and banker. First he e worked for a French sugar trader and agri food group and then with international banks as Crédit Agricole, Société Générale and HSBC in Paris and in New York.
Now acting as independent consultant with Acrretio Capital Solutions, which he founded, he provides debt and strategic advisory for the commodities sector SME & financial institutions, with a focus Food & Agri in Europe.
He holds a Bsc in Tourism planning and attended the executive master program at Kellogg School of Business in Chicago as well as ESSEC - IMD, Paris.
As a seasoned software professional, Subu Sankara brings his experience and leadership skills to Satoshi.ltd. For over two decades, his expertise has included working for both software product companies and services companies, and partnering with customers to fulfill their expectations. Most recently, Subu worked for Infogain where he assisted a number of enterprise SaaS customers accomplish their goals & objectives to develop cloud-based on-demand platforms using a dual-shore project delivery model.
A seasoned technology leader, Steve, worked as a technology consultant and technology advisor to investors over the last several years. Most recently, Steve ran his own technology consulting firm, Matterhorn Technology Group, where he provided investment advice to PE investors. Steve has a BS in Computer Science from the US Naval Academy, an MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins, and is currently working on an MBA from UC Berkeley.
Vinayak’s entrepreneurial career started in 1983 after he quit a programmer-analyst position in Alfa-Laval- a Swedish company which is a world leader in Heat Transfer and Separation technologies. Vinayak’s passion for technology skills development drove his ventures in recruitment, training and consulting. He founded Synerzip & was a cofounder at ECMi. Vinayak is a certified J2EE programmer and architect & has an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and BSME from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
Himanshu is a thought leader in maritime business intelligence. He has led shipping software companies from a position of overall leadership for more than 12 years. In 2010, he founded Seven Oceans, a maritime and shipping software company. Today, Seven Oceans is an established and a well-known provider of products for commercial shipping and fleet management, and serves commodity traders, cargo charterers, ship owners, operators and shipbrokers. Himanshu has been a captain on large oil tankers for N & T Argonaut, Sweden. His experience in commercial shipping experience includes tanker freight derivatives with a large shipbroker and commercial management of tankers with OMI, Stamford, CT. He moved to technology in shipping in the early dot-com days, and has served as VP of Business Development for ARI(Marine Simulation) and President, Teledata Marine(Shipping Software products) before starting Seven Oceans. He holds a Masters in Economics and International Trade & Transport from Universities of London and London Guildhall respectively. He is an avid reader and a sailing enthusiast.
Anish has been working in the security and cryptography area for the past 15 years, as a researcher and as a consultant. He has spent half his career researching cryptographic algorithms and protocols. He has also worked as a strategy consultant for Accenture and Capgemini. He has been involved in the Blockchain ecosystem as one of the founding members of UKDCA. He is also on the advisory board for Adjoint, Arteia, Privacy Shell, Ripple Labs, Hyperloop Transport Technologies, EA Ventures, IEET and Chain of Things. These days he’s more focused on projects that involve security vs scalability vs consensus of Blockchain and using smart contracts for AI safety.
He is a regular speaker and contributor in the areas of AI safety, Robotics, cybersecurity and blockchain. He is currently the chief science officer for Blockchainsmokers.
Salman is the front-end developer at Satoshi. He has a background in Finance & every so often, takes a step back and marvels at the multiverse of software engineering.
